The short version

• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no login.
• No cookies. Nettacular sets no first-party cookies for tracking, analytics, or preferences.
• No third-party ad networks. There are no ads on this site and no advertising trackers.
• Self-hosted, anonymous analytics. We count page views using an analytics service we run on our own infrastructure. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, and records only non-identifying data: the page path, the referring domain, coarse screen size, browser language, and a timestamp. This data is never sold or shared with any third party.

Web traffic information

Like every website, when your browser requests a page our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services / CloudFront) automatically receives standard request information such as your IP address, the URL requested, and your browser type. This is unavoidable for any site to function. We do not use it to identify you and we do not combine it with the analytics data above.

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
