The short version

• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no login.
• No cookies. Nettacular sets no first-party cookies for tracking, analytics, or preferences.
• Saved timeline window. If you choose a six- or twelve-month soda timeline, that choice is saved in this browser on this device for three months, then expires. It is not sent to our servers.
• No third-party ad networks. There are no ads on this site and no advertising trackers.
• Self-hosted, anonymous analytics. We count page views using an analytics service we run on our own infrastructure. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, and records only non-identifying data: the page path, the referring domain, coarse screen size, browser language, and a timestamp. This data is never sold or shared with any third party.

AI Model Timeline

The AI Model Timeline runs entirely in your browser over static data files from our own domain. Your filters and forecast settings live in the page address so you can share them; nothing is stored in your browser or sent to us. Downloads are built in your browser. Nothing you do on that page is sent to an AI service (see How we use AI). Links to sources open third-party sites, which have their own privacy practices.

Web traffic information

Like every website, when your browser requests a page our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services / CloudFront) automatically receives standard request information such as your IP address, the URL requested, and your browser type. This is unavoidable for any site to function. We do not use it to identify you and we do not combine it with the analytics data above.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
